1. Definitions

  • “You” or “Your” refers to the website user or customer.
  • “Services” refers to the maintenance and repair services offered by All-In Handyman.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using our services, you confirm that:

  1. You are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  2. You agree to these Terms in full.

3. Scope of Services

All-In Handyman provides residential maintenance and repair services.

  • Services are offered within Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Requests outside our scope will not be accepted. As per The Handyman Exemptions NRS 624.031
  • A formal quotation must be agreed upon before commencing any service.

  • Monetary Limit
    • A handyman does not need a contractor’s license if the total project cost (including labor and materials) does not exceed $1,000.
    • This includes single or combined projects, meaning splitting a project into smaller parts to avoid the limit is not allowed.
  • Restricted Work Types
    Even within the $1,000 limit, a handyman cannot perform certain specialized trades that require a license, including:
    • Electrical work (e.g., wiring, panel installations, or repairs)
    • Plumbing work (e.g., installing or repairing pipes, water heaters, or fixtures)
    • HVAC work (e.g., air conditioning, heating systems, or ductwork)
    • Fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, alarms)
  • Scope of Allowable Work
    A handyman can do minor repairs, maintenance, and small improvements, such as:
  • General Repairs & Maintenance
  • Fixing doors, windows, and cabinets.
  • Repairing drywall or patching small holes.
  • Painting (interior or exterior).
  • Caulking and sealing around windows, tubs, and sinks.
  • Tightening loose hinges, handles, or knobs.
  • Furniture & Appliance Tasks
  • Assembling furniture or equipment.
  • Moving and repositioning furniture.
  • Mounting TVs or mirrors (non-structural and no in-wall wiring).
  • Installing or replacing non-plumbed appliances (like microwaves or portable dishwashers).
  • Flooring & Carpentry
  • Installing or replacing baseboards or trim.
  • Laying down peel-and-stick or floating floors (non-permanent).
  • Repairing small sections of flooring (e.g., scratches, cracked tiles).
  • Safety & Accessibility
  • Installing handrails, grab bars, or safety gates.
  • Childproofing cabinets or installing outlet covers.
  • Installing or replacing battery-operated smoke or carbon monoxide detectors.
  • Seasonal Work
  • Hanging holiday lights or decorations.
  • Clearing gutters or trimming small branches.
  • Applying weather stripping or installing door sweeps.
  • Exterior & Landscaping
  • Repairing fences, gates, or sheds (minor repairs without permits).
  • Building garden structures like trellises (non-permanent).
  • Installing or repairing mailboxes or house numbers.

  • Garage & Storage Solutions
  • Mounting wall shelves or storage systems.
  • Repairing non-electrical components of garage doors.
  • Organizing tools or decluttering.
  • Decor & Installations
  • Hanging pictures, mirrors, or shelves.
  • Installing blinds, curtain rods, or shades.
  • Installing or repairing locks and doorknobs.
  • Remember, the key is to avoid tasks that require:
  • Building Permits: For example, structural changes or large-scale renovations.
  • Specialized Trades: Such as electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC, or gas work.
  • Projects Exceeding $1,000 (including labor and materials): If the job value surpasses this limit, a licensed contractor is required.
  • Advertising Restrictions
    • Handymen cannot advertise themselves as licensed contractors.
    • They must clearly state that they are “not a licensed contractor” in any advertisements or business listings.
  • Violations & Penalties
  • Performing work beyond the exemption limit without a contractor’s license can result in fines and legal penalties.
  • The Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) enforces these regulations and investigates complaints.

4. User Obligations

When using our services, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate information about your property and requirements.
  2. Allow Reasonable Access to Your Property: You agree to grant our staff reasonable and safe access to your property during the scheduled service period. This includes but is not limited to: Ensuring that someone is present to allow entry or making prior arrangements to provide us with access (e.g., a spare key or lock code) if necessary.
  3. Removing any obstacles, hazards, or personal items that could hinder the completion of services.
  4. Maintaining a safe environment for our staff, free from unsafe conditions, aggressive animals, or other risks.
  5. Make timely payment for services rendered.

Failure to meet these obligations may result in service delays, additional fees, or termination of our agreement.


5. Payment Terms

  1. Quotes and Estimates: All quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Changes to the scope of work may result in adjustments to the quoted price.
  2. Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods for your convenience:
  3. Credit/Debit Cards: Payments can be made securely online or in person through authorized payment processors.
  4. Bank Transfers: Direct bank transfers must be completed before the scheduled service date.
  5. Cash Payments: Cash payments are accepted at the time of service. Please ensure the exact amount is provided as our staff may not carry change.
  6. We do not accept personal checks unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
  7. Late Payments: Invoices not paid within the due date may incur additional late fees. Repeated late payments may lead to service restrictions.
  8. Refund Policy: Refunds are issued at our discretion and are only applicable in cases where services have not been provided as agreed upon.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we strive to accommodate changes to your service appointments. Please review the following terms regarding cancellations and rescheduling:

  1. Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time.
    • Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of the service may incur a cancellation fee, which is determined based on the scope and time of the canceled service.
    • Failure to notify us of a cancellation (no-show) will result in the full service charge being applied.
  2. Rescheduling Policy:
    • Rescheduling requests should also be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred new service time based on our availability.
    • Rescheduling made with less than 48 hours‘ notice may be subject to additional administrative fees.
  3. Emergency Cancellations:
    • If cancellations occur due to emergencies (e.g., medical issues or unforeseen natural events), we may waive cancellation fees at our discretion. Supporting documentation may be requested.
  4. Company Cancellations or Rescheduling:
    • In rare instances, All-In Handyman may need to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen events (e.g., staff unavailability, safety concerns, or severe weather conditions).
    • In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible, and we will prioritize rescheduling at a time convenient for you. No fees will apply for cancellations or rescheduling initiated by us.
  5. Refunds for Cancellations:
    • Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 10 business days if applicable. This applies only to prepaid services and excludes any applicable cancellation fees.

Failure to provide notice may result in cancellation fees.


7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for excellence, All-In Handyman cannot be held liable for:

  1. Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  2. Property damage or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters or acts of third parties.

Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service.


8. Privacy Policy

9. Intellectual Property

Jurisdiction: You agree that any legal actions or proceedings related to these Terms or the services provided by All-In Handyman will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada. By using our services, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.
  2. Compliance with Local Laws: While we primarily operate in Nevada, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with all applicable local laws and regulations. All-In Handyman is not responsible for any non-compliance with laws outside Nevada’s jurisdiction.
  3. Dispute Resolution: Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through negotiation. If negotiations fail, the matter will be resolved through the courts as outlined above.
